We have successfully handed over many of our churches (70+) to other ministries and they are still growing.
We have planted over 10 churches in Mexico, and put in place a translating system that can accurately and efficiently translate training materials into Spanish. We have translated an accredited Bible Institute Program from English to Spanish. It is currently use in Cuba.
Expand has planted one of its first churches outside a major town in Karamoja, Uganda. The Karamajong are an aggressive tribe who make the news regularly in East Africa for robbing other tribes in Kenya and South Sudan. The pastor of the church is a former warlord who regularly went out to steal and kill, but today he goes out to share Jesus Christ.
Expand planted eight churches in the middle of the bush within a radius of 12 miles after God revealed His plan to evangelize a remote area outside of Lira Uganda in a dream. When we arrived we found a group of people praying for God to send them help. All told, we have planted over 60 new churches in 5 countries and have adopted 30 additional churches. The largest church stands at 500 congregants.
